I really recommend checking out neen bowen. she’s an incredibly talented lesbian rnb artist that has been holding my headphones hostage for years and was a core part of my queer awakening. she hasn’t really caught a big break yet but she’s really got it
I wonder if this is why somebody like Coco Jones is kind of lacking in impact right now, even though she covers all grounds to be great. SZA and Frank Ocean have completely reshaped RnB as a space for alt and queer people, and now traditional RnB seems almost... outdated ?
Some of my favorite artists are part of the LGBTQ+ community. Their talent, artistry, and fearless self-expression have helped create some of the music I love most. Music is at its best when everyone has a voice.

I was saying to my brother queer artists are carrying real life R&B and not whatever it is Summer Walker does.
